Basic Functions: Procurement and processing of neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient specimens for laboratory testing.? Performs and reports on laboratory testing, quality control, preventive maintenance and other commonly accepted laboratory duties with appropriate documentation and accuracy. May be responsible for teaching MT and other students or new employees to perform appropriate testing, maintenance and documentation procedures.? Maintains current knowledge of hospital and laboratory policies and testing procedures. May be required to coordinate daily operations of lab section in the absence of supervisor.? Technologists working independently in Transfusion Services/ Blood Bank are required to complete FBI background screening to include fingerprinting. ? Minimum
Qualifications:? Bachelor''s Degree in medical technology?from a regionally accredited college or university and two years of full-time experience in a clinical laboratory as a certified MT/MLS - OR - an equivalent combination of education and acceptable clinical lab experience ASCP or NCA certification as Medical Technologist or Clinical Laboratory Scientist required (If NCA certified or ASCP certified January 2007 or after, must meet current CE requirements to maintain certification) Preferred
Qualifications: Bachelor''s Degree from a regionally accredited college or university in Medical Technology, Biology, Chemistry or other life science 5
years of Laboratory Generalist experience Prior experience in clinical lab area (i.e. Blood Bank, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, etc.) ?Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
