Quick Apply Full-time Part-time Internship 22 hours ago Full Job Description Very busy nonprofit animal rescue looking for a highly reliable and skilled volunteer coordinator/events planner to join our team and be responsible for the scheduling and training of volunteers as well as the organization of events.
This position also requires jumping in to help around the kennel with chores as needed.
The successful candidate will have a background working with volunteer groups and planning of events for community service/fundraising and will be able to work independently on tasks as well as work efficiently as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
Keep up with volunteer applications Reply in a timely fashion to applicants and organize by interest.
Engage and train volunteers.
Seek out fundraising event opportunities in the community and execute plans.
Excellent communication and customer service.
Lead volunteer activities and provide photos and details to social media team Help staff with additional duties as needed.
